Can polished concrete be slippery?

Kept clean and dry, polished concrete floors are generally no slicker than plain concrete surfaces. They tend to be less slippery than waxed linoleum or polished marble. In cases where the polished concrete floor is deemed to be a slip hazard, a non-skid additive can be added.
